I still couldn’t believe how mesmerizing Kerala was. After years of planning to visit this beautiful place, my wife, Priyanka, and I finally managed to spend some time in this scenic state. We contacted Seasonz India Holidays, and they arranged everything for us.
As soon as we landed in Kochi, we knew we were in for a treat. The first destination was Munnar, where we were in awe of the green tea gardens. Who knew that nature could be so stunningly beautiful? We enjoyed taking walks among the tea plantations and listening to the melodious chirping of the birds.
Thekkady was one of my favorite destinations during our trip. We went on a jeep safari and saw some great wildlife. We learned about the various spice plantations, and the guides were very informative. We saw different spices growing and learned about their medicinal properties.
The houseboat ride through the backwaters in Alleppey was one experience we will never forget. The scenic beauty and the peaceful cruise helped us get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We had delicious authentic Kerala cuisine on board and loved every bit of it. The smiling faces of the locals made us feel so welcome.
While visiting Kochi, we were amazed to see the Chinese fishing nets and the architecture of the Mattancherry Palace. The streets that lead to Fort Kochi were bustling with people selling souvenirs, and we took this opportunity to buy some local handicrafts to take back home.
